Daniel Chimal is a Berlin-based illustrator and visual artist originally from Mexico City, creating bold, design-focused illustration for editorial and commercial clients worldwide.
With a background in architecture (M.Sc. Architektur), Daniel brings a distinctive sensibility to every project, one shaped by geometric thinking, vibrant colour, and a deep interest in the relationship between images and objects. His work draws from the folk art and visual energy of Mexico City, where he grew up, and the creative rigour of Berlin, the city where his ideas found their shape.
Daniel works across editorial and commercial illustration, campaigns, and design collaborations. He is currently exploring how his visual language translates beyond the page.
